At The Lakehouse...A Jute Rug From Serena and Lily

This week I have had a lot of fun decorating at the lakehouse 

with a new rug from Serena and Lily!

I received one of the beautiful rugs from their Jute Rug Collection!

It is the first round rug I have had, and I love the casual feeling 

it gives the room, going well with vintage and modern styles.  

This rug measures a nice-sized 5 feet across...perfect for an accent area. 

The pattern is lovely, with large and small circular elements, 

and it is hand-braided with natural jute for a fun Scandinavian feeling.

I love the texture it brings to the space, and how well it goes with other textures...different woods and fabrics, even my little pug!

While it's probably not for high traffic areas, it looks lovely on a wood floor, and would be a beautiful accent rug on a low level carpet, as well.  It takes a light vacuum, and spot cleaning for care, and they recommend using a rug pad. 

They even included a plastic sleeve for storage or moving.

I love the casual, whimsical feeling it gives the space!
