We have been having a beautiful fall here in Minnesota! Today with a light breeze, the leaves are falling and this is what we're surrounded by...
But with ten 40 foot tall trees around the yard, there are still LOTS AND LOTS to drop yet!
The mums are in full bloom...
flowers are setting seeds...
Berries are ripe...
Vines are changing colors, too~ I want to cut the grapevines for wreaths...
Leaves are gathering in the fountain and birdbaths...
I love the blue, blue skies of fall...
Until next time...
Linda
Hi Lida,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely yard you have! I especially love your gate and pergola. It's been gorgeous here in Michigan, too!
Lovely, lovely post! I really enjoy seeing photos of your garden. It's SO different from where I live! We are getting lower temps now, but today it got up to 90 but the evenings and mornings are better now. :-)
ReplyDeleteLinda- Your yard is beautiful...and I too love the blue skies of fall! I just did a post on my Halloween Decorating ( so far ) I showed a pic of my mantel with the banner I made with your cards..I'll post a better pic with a close up later on..but I did post a link to your esty store.
ReplyDeleteThanks
Tammy :-)
Oh, these pictures are gorgeous, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI am feeling very sorry for us Southern California people. Our leaves are dropping, but not because they are changing color. I think because with 97 degree weather, they are scorching!!!

Beautiful fall photos, Linda. I would love to visit Minn again in the fall. I loved my trip there last fall to see things from The Mary Tyler Moore show in Minneapolis!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI love to shuffle my feet in the leaves, kick them high into the sky, and crunch them under my feet. I'm still a kid when it comes to fall. :o)
Have a great day! La
This looks just like our property! Leaves everywhere, leaves in the birdbath...And much more to come!

ReplyDeleteAaaaaah, I just felt like I took a deep breath of fresh northern fall air! Thanks for bringing a touch of that to a girl in the south who misses those northern fall days. Beautiful.

PS My Mom was telling me that when she went to High School in Blooming Prairie, They were know as the "Blossoms"! They must have had one Tough Football Team! LOL
(I was 2 when we Left Blooming to come out West.)
Your yard is always so nice to look at. You must spend days trying to clear all the leaves that fall.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime enjoy all those changing colors.
I almost wish the leaves would all fall at the same time and just be done with it. But who wants to look at naked trees for so long?! Your yard and garden look so pretty, leaves and all!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are so gorgeous! Love the gate. The weather is finally cooled a bit here but we will never have that color. Oh how this Maryland girl misses that! Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden and yard.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing..I just love Fall!
ReplyDeleteMorning Linda....!
ReplyDeleteYour pics makes the change of season look GORGEOUS....I'm afraid to say I'm STILL very much a spring/summer girl myself....Mind....Running through the fallen leaves like a 5 year old has it's appeal....hahahahahaha....!
I hope you're having a magnificent week Lovey....!
Cheers from Oz,
Tamarah :o)
Those are some beautiful pictures, I loved all of them. You are so lucky to be surrounded by nature. There sure will be a lot of leaves to clean up, but I'm sure it will be fun. We still have summer weather here. Can't wait for the weather to chance, afteall, Christmas is just around the corner.
