We had our Thanksgiving family get-together just last night, so today I am starting to do some Christmas decorating! I'm surrounded by boxes and need a little inspiration to get started! Thought I'd share some ornament photos from previous years~ we decorate in mostly vintage, as I have been collecting it for many years... hope you are inspired, too!
I LOVE the look of silverplate, ornaments, and tinsel...
This sweet little porcelain bell belonged to my husband's Grandmother...
Well, I guess I'm ready to start decorating the tree! I'll share more of my vintage Christmas collections in the days ahead!
Until next time...
Linda

I'm over the moon for those vintage ornaments! I saw some in an antique store and almost bought them, but my hubby would probably disown me if I brought home any more Christmas decorations.

ReplyDeleteI dusted yesterday, as that's it in that dept. until decorations are put away. Boxes are stacked and waiting....

Linda,
ReplyDeleteHey I have those same boxes all over my house. I love the old ornaments too. I collected for years, then inherited my parents collection so I have tons. I really love the silver plate displays you did. Beautiful! Lisa
PS Hope you've gotten further than me.
Oh Linda, your magnificent Vintage inspired Tree is certainly an inspiration. I too collect and adore the older Ornaments, I have some from Europe that belonged to my Gt. Grandparents... very fragile and yet have endured over 100 years already! Thanks for your sweet comment on my Christmas Post... Blessings... Dawn... The Bohemian
ReplyDeleteI adore vintage Christmas things. I have a little tree with my antique ornaments on it way up high on top of my great grandmas china cabinet so the kids can't knock it over. Happy Christmas to you!
