A New Collage...Naturally
Monday, November 15, 2010
I made a new collage this week and was looking to do something with some natural elements and an outdoor feeling. I used a burlap covered 9 x 12 canvasboard and scans of lots of pieces from my vintage ephemera collection. I also used The Graphic's Fairy's wonderful reindeer image, as well as some other images from her site. The cashier ticket on the top right corner was taken from a piece I received from Vicki of Rusty Rooster Vintage . There are lots of vintage assemblage pieces- metal tags, keys, game pieces, crinkled seam binding, and pieces of bark and an old yardstick, etc. It reminds me of a naturalist's bulletin board...
I love the little toy reindeer and old safety pin...
I paired the cattle tag with an old piece of leather strapping...
I also did some stamped images and hand coloring...
I had a lot of fun creating this piece! I am linking to~

Until next time...
