The Bachman's Holiday Ideas House Part 3...
Thursday, December 16, 2010
Today, I'm going the share the rest of the very inspirational Bachman's Holiday Ideas House! If you are just
joining in the tour, you can visit my last two posts here and here to see the all the other ideas! Remember, too, there are links to three previous Ideas Houses~ spring, summer, and fall, on my sidebar! The craft room was so wonderful! Used for sewing, crafts, and gift wrapping...just look at all these fun wrapping ideas! You can click on the photos to enlarge them...
I love this fun colorful storage solution...drapery rods were wall mounted as wrap holders...
and this was one of my favorite ideas... charming fabric ragballs used as pincushions...so cute!
You've probably seen measuring stick stars...but I love the graphic stencil letter additions ...
The fun valances were made with fringed pompom trimmed sewing pattern pieces!
And here's another fun way to use those vintage hangers~ gift bag organization!
Storage baskets were labeled with Scrabble letters!
One wall had this great, changeable wipe-off calendar! It was made with scrapbook papers and covered with plexiglass~ it looked wonderful and oh-so-useful!
There were some pretty ideas in the last bedroom~ this glass topped urn looked so lovely for the season...
A vintage screen door half was backed with a mirror, for a great look!...
and isn't this glassware charming used for candles?
Outdoors, the house was decorated with beautiful natural and vintage elements... old red fan blades looked festive in the flower beds!...
and the potting shed was decorated with letters cut from old ceiling tin (that must have taken some careful work) and lots of greenery...
The outdoor fireplace was decked for the season, too!
I loved this last idea...branches were tied to a lantern-holding yard hook ...they lined the walkway to the house!
Well, that's it for the Bachman's Holiday Ideas House! I hope you enjoyed the tour! The house was so successful this year, they are already planning it for next year, too! It will be open again for the Spring Ideas House, March 31st- April 17th 2011!

I started to leave a comment and got distracted by something sparkly, it disappeared when I went wondering off to one of your other commenters blogs....
ReplyDeleteGreat picture, I missed the potting shed, doh! Those ceiling tile letters are fantastic but pricey, we're looking at $1000+ to spell out "Happy Holidays". Heck I don't know if I could swing "Hi"!
Thanks for sharing your visit. Merry Christmas!
Susanne.
