A Pug Post...
Sunday, January 23, 2011
If you've been following me for awhile, you may be familiar with our two pugs, Bailey and Sophie! They give us lots of laughter, love, and fun! Sophie is our three year old...a real cuddlepug...
Bailey is five, very smart, and rules the roost...
There's lots of playtime with toys...
Outdoor time...although when its snowy and cold, we have to scatter straw to protect their little paws...
Most of their time, however, is doing this...
and this...
and this...
and even this...
and lots of finding the sunny spot...
As cold as it is here, I'd like to find the sunny spot, too!
I am joining~Debbiedoos Pet Party I think my pugs might like to come and play with Lucy, Debbie!
UPDATE~ I am re-posting this as a favorite post of 2011 with Honey at 2805 for her Potpourri Party !
Until next time...

adorable! makes me want a dog.
ReplyDeleteOk you literally had me laughing out LOUD! Those two are a real hoot. Funny how their little faces look different yet very much can tell they are pugs. Sophie has the crinkle face. Lucy does not have that on her forehead..and I see Bailey does not much either, well not so much. Thanks Linda for sharing the loves of your life with us. And you are getting another. I would love to have another one too.
ReplyDeleteThey are too cute!!! I love their smooshy faces:) My two are the same, where there is sun, there is sure to be a dog! LOve those pics, made me laugh:D
ReplyDeleteSuch cute shots, Linda. Oh, boy another one coming to move in.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! Wouldn't mind a nap in a sunny warm spot myself:@)
ReplyDeleteMove over girls, there's a new man in town! How exciting for you guys to add to the pack. Wait, I think three makes a herd. lol They are adorable. Love the sleeping shots.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, they are adorable! Can't wait to see your newest addition!
ReplyDeleteThese two are absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh, to be a dog! I loved your photo's of them sleeping and the one of them under the covers is adorable. I am liking your idea to use straw out side, we might need to give that a try! Congrats on your new addition, can't wait to see photo's!

Your dogs crack me up. I love their little mushed in faces. They really need to learn how to relax though :) Dogs really have such great personalities. We took a pic of our Corgie with a Lay's potato chip bag on his head, yesterday. It was too funny... he couldn't get it off. That will teach him for getting in the trash.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your Pug's! xo
They are So Adorable! Our Furry little Friends are so Special. What would we do without them!
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
Hope you are Staying Warm too!
Hugs

I have just found your blog, and I love it! My daughter, Laura and I just were given a pug 4 days ago! We had lost our dear schnauzer in August and my older daughter and her husband gave us a pug! Laura has a new best friend! Our pug is a boy named Zippy and he fits his name! He was a rescue dog from a home with a very active 2 year old boy that was too much for Zippy to handle! I have never had a pug before, but have read up on them. He is doing very well here. Loves to go out, even though it is cold and snowy, just do not let him out for long. If there are any tips you can give me, they would be very appreciated! Thanks so much for a terrific blog!

The girls will be vying for the new guy's attention. Bailey and Sophies are very sweet. La
ReplyDeleteAwwww! Your pugs are just too funny! Love the name of your post, btw:). They remind me of our pup who seems to be in hibernation mode this winter, all she does is eat and sleep. Well, I do that too! Good luck with your new addition!!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! So cute.
ReplyDeleteTheir faces are so adorable.
Wishing you a wonderful day!
Hugs, Sharon
I love your babies!! And can't wait to see the new one! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a black pug (we just recently got) and she is so sweet and so much fun!!
Can you tell me more about the straw? Lucy HATES the snow so we've been shoveling a path in our YARD for her, but maybe straw is the answer?
I love all the sleeping in a sunny spot. Charlie does that also. They are so cute your little pugs!!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, don't tell all the other pug owners, but there's something about these two that i just LOVE! they are flippin' adorable!! stopping by from debbie's party.
ReplyDeleteOh, these two are so sweet, they make me smile! Three sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Donna
Linda, you know how much I love this post! Sophie and Bailey could be my BTs in disguise! I can't wait to meet the newest member when he arrives - he will give the house veterans a run for their money, I'm sure! Ann
ReplyDeleteYour pugs look like they have a very good home!! With faces that only a "mother" could love right?? SO funny! Can't wait to meet your new addition to the family! Julie
ReplyDeleteBailey and Sophie are just so darn cute! I love all their different napping spots - it's like they have a different spot for every mood!
ReplyDeleteYour pugs are darling! How nice that you are willing to open your home to another pug in need of a home. It is cold here, too. I saw our neighbor being taken for a quick walk yesterday. Baxter looked happy, but his owner didn't, I'm afraid.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
Cute puppies!!=) Hey you win my drawing from funky junk! Just send me your address and I'll send your mug your way!

They are so darn adorable! Congratulations on your soon to be new family member! The next time you come across another pug needing a home please think of me. I've always wanted one. Vanna
ReplyDeleteSophie and Bailey are so cute together. They had me smiling from the start and laughing by the end. They are just to adorable. I sure hope they like their new family member.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Sphoie & Bailey -great names! Like I said before... so cute I called my son over to see them too. :) I imagine you had a hard time choosing the pictures to use -you must have a ton!
ReplyDeleteGood heavens what a cute pair of pooches! I LOVE all of the photos of them lounging around...very funny :)
ReplyDeleteThe girls are so adorable. One of my friends does pug rescue and I am always amazed at how many of these dogs need a new home. Can't imagine not wanting to keep them after they've been in your home for a while. Enjoy the new guy!
ReplyDeleteI love your doggies, they are so sweet! And you're getting another one-lucky you.
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are so cute! Dogs just have a way of winning our hearts. We have a rescued Shepherd mix. She was supposed to be a 35 pound boxer/terrier and is an 85 pound shedding shepherd/something with allergies. We do love her though.
ReplyDeleteWe all really enjoyed the pictures of the pugs. Reason? We have three of our own. Yes, three!
ReplyDeleteMom (Angelina), Dad (Max), and son (Charlie). Last year at this time I had Mom and Dad and six pug puppies. Not on purpose. Totally a mistake, but that's another long story.
Isn't it funny how they all just love pillows!
I'm smiling from ear to ear. Your doggies are absolutely adorable and I'm so happy to meet them. Aw, what faces!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! Like frosting on a cake!
Hugs,
Jan

Thanks for the sweet comment on the Furr Boys. Yes, they are partners in crime too much crime. Thank goodness they are getting older the crimes are slowing down.

OMG! I just had lots of heart palpitations! Last year we lost our 13 year old pug Benny and I still miss him sooo much...snif, snif, snif! I love your pair and Baily was just like Ben, he looked and did everything you described, and that Sophie is sooo cute! That sad looking face just kills me! I remember Ben been so smart and lovable, he knew and smelled everything and everyone in the house and was aware of all that went on, didn't miss a thing!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing Linda, your post made my day! Have a very happy New Year along with your dear family, Sophie and Baily.
FABBY

ReplyDeleteThank you for for sharing at Potpourri Friday. I wish you a healthy, prosperous and sparkling New Year!
so cute! I just looked up two of your pug posts through your Link Within app- so fun. Pugs are the best. So many similarities with the breed, and yet so full of their own personalities. Love.
