This week I am joining my friend Tricia at A Rosy Note for her first Photo Feature Friday Party ! I recently bought a new camera~ a Canon Rebel T2i ~ and have been having fun experimenting with it! These are some of the first photos I took...one of my pugs, Sophie, is always a willing victim, and patiently puts up with me... I used Creative Automatic, an auto focus that allows some flexibility with settings- I used a larger aperture, no flash, and the monochrome setting. These are as taken, no adjustments... It was fun to try something a little different than I usually do! You can click on the images to enlarge them...
I'm enjoying experimenting with the camera and look forward to seeing what it can do! Hope you come and join the party, too! I'm looking forward to visiting the participants!
Until next time...
Linda
That's the camera I just recently got! But I'm not as experimental as you are. I just put it on automatic and shoot.

Your little pugs are so adorable. We are missing our little Rudy and are talking about finding another dog to keep Betsy company. Pugs are sure cute. I love your shutters. I've had some in every house we've ever owned. I have some white ones in the laundry room in the house we're in now. Love the wonderful things you got at the sale. I'm looking for some large (over 18 inches) letters for our playroom. If you ever find anything at a reasonable price let me know. (I'd like them to spell play) Thanks Mimi
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Linda!!! I'm
ReplyDeletewith my mom and had
to show her these great

the cards and liked them : )
Have a wonderful weekend!

Awwww...I want a pug...and a new camera :) Laurel
ReplyDeleteSophie, you look so worried! Your pictures turned out very well Linda, clear, detailed, but of course you had the perfect subject! I may have to sneak a pug into the Boston household somehow - so cute! Ann
ReplyDeleteOMG when I talked about getting a new camera on Friday it was a cannon rebel I think XS. I struggled through the magazine pictures and a friend who is a professional photographer came and gave me a crash course. I ended up doing most of my photo's on auto setting. Now that I have used it a little I will go back and read the manual.....Cute puppy, I would love to just squish him!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie!!!! I love her whiskers - so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI just got a new camera a Finepix HS10 and I love it.... but I haven't at all got to grips with it yet.
It only has an on line manual so I got it printed out at the printers and its about an inch thick!!!

ReplyDeleteMy daughter moved back home last year and brought her Pug along. What love bugs they are! And very, very smart.
