Fun Decor At The Lake...

In my last post, I shared some of my sporting goods collection in our porch at home.  We decorate in a lodge style at our lakehome and use lots of fun sporting goods in our decor there, too!  We mix it up with traditional lodge items and lots of my gameboard items.  Love the two old pillow shams above...the Chanute Field sham is from where I was born!  That was a great find in a local thrift store!  The vintage fishing trophy in the photo below just makes me smile...

A colorful dartboard adds a really graphic touch to a wall...

as do vintage gameboards...

Here's another style of dartboard...

Love the baseball graphics...

Deer items show up here and there...

as do more vintage tennis rackets...

Isn't this vintage Syroco bookend fun?

I love the tin of vintage fishing flies and the lure was my husband's as a boy...

This is one of my favorite pieces of furniture, just a beautiful antique piece and perfect in the lakehouse with old collectibles.  The drawers are full of games and jigsaw puzzles...

Old binoculars are one of my favorite collections...

Hope you enjoyed this peek at the lakehouse...other areas in the home have a vintage beachy look- I'll share those in the future, too!

I am joining Savvy Southern Style's Wow Us Wednesday

Until next time...

  2. Oh my goodness i just love this post!! This takes me so back to my childhood ...going up to Northern Ontario for vacation! Love love that pillow from BC Canada with the Mounty on it!!! These pillows are priceless. We used to have those same tennis rackets with the wood covers! This lakehouse must be such a fun place.

Thanks for reminding me that the tray is Italian Floretine!!! IT totally escaped my brain when i did the post. I just purchased nesting tables and have yet to tell my hubby about them!! Hope to bring them home this week.

  9. Oh please do show us more of your sweet little lake house.
Your Farmington, BC pillow is wonderful, I lived not far from Farmington BC and used to fill up with gas there every day or so.
There is only a gas station there today, I think it used to be larger way when. Was that a flea market find?
I love all of your decor, it's great!

  21. Linda so many people had cabins when I lived in Minnesota, no one that I know here in Florida has one! Yours is great! Deb and I had the best time, only it was hotter there than here in Orlando...Thought I was going die!!!

  22. Very nicely done, following the lodge theme without going too far out. I laughed when I saw that even the books have camping subjects.
