I've been under the weather this week with a cold and now oh-so-fun laryngitis. So I headed to the garden store today for a much needed little pick-me-up! Some little touches of spring color are just what I needed! Primroses just say "spring"...two shades of pink went home with me...
And these little daffodils are so sweet...
I even love the look of the shoots coming out of the ground!
And I spied this charming lady at the shop...a big, heavy formed concrete bust (from a hollow mold, so at least I can move her) with a great classical distressed appearance!
I think she's a beauty...and she'll probably find a place in my gardens this year...
Until next time...hope you have a wonderful weekend...and I've got a date with a soft blanket and some magazines!
Your flowers are so sweet & pretty and your lady will look lovely in your garden!

Linda,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you are under the weather. But nothing like primroses to perk you up! They are so pretty. I tried to grow them in my front yard one year but I think the ivy choked them out. sigh.
