Well, we've traveled several weekends to get the docks in at the lake and have had lots of rainy weather! This weekend was no different! Driving down to the lake we encountered very bad weather and had to stop for awhile as there were two tornado touchdowns in the area. We drove in downpouring rain with very poor visibility! On Saturday, we finally got a stretch of dock put in when dark clouds rolled in again! A big thunderstorm hit with LOTS of hail. After it passed, we were able to finish a little more before more storms rolled in. It looks so calm as the storm clouds roll quickly in...
It was supposed to storm all night and the next day, but we woke up to a breezy, sunny day! We were able to get the rest of the main dock and the lift in! It's ready for the boat now and one more small dock section!
It was a weekend of hard work and sore bodies, but it's so nice to get the work done, so we can start to enjoy it!
I am joining Debra at Common Ground's Monday Marketplace with fun etsy goodies!
Until next time...
Wow! Spectacular views! I bet it's beautiful even during a storm!

Oh, it sure looks pretty there, Linda. My husband put our dock in last weekend. You should see the boat lift though. It's sitting there all kittywampus in the lake...he needs a helper :)

It looks beautiful there, Linda. I'm sure you'll enjoy many hours of pleasure there. You can see how choppy the water is - sure wouldn't want to be out on a boat with it like that.

I remember spending many weekends at my Grandparents cabin up north (Bay Lake) and the beautiful dock they had. I sure miss those days. I've been after the hubby lately to find a lake lot...I'm not holding my breath though. Your lake looks beautiful. What part of MN is it located? Just curious.
