Porch Pillows...
Monday, July 2, 2012
Last post, I shared a few photos of our sunporch. There are lots of pillows out there (works well for all the naps), and I especially love to use pillows made with vintage quilts and fabrics! I found these pillows already created by other crafters and ready to use! Love the old fabrics...
Yo-yos are always fun!
The appliqued butterfly is charming...
This pillow was made from an old quilt- each side has an embroidered name from the woman who created that block! Must have been quite a quilt!
I found the pillow at the last Haupt Antiek Market sale! You might remember that my daughter and I were long time dealers there and always find the best goodies from the dealers there! They are featured in the August issue of Romantic Homes, which just hit the stands- in the "Top 25 Best Romantic-Style Flea Markets in America."
It was also fun to see the wonderful A Gathering of Friends sale listed, as well! It is one of my favorite sales and is held at Bachman's at the same time as the Ideas House is open...talk about a fun day!
A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to all of my dealer friends at these sales for the recognition!!
I am joining Monday Marketplace over at Common Ground!
Until next time...

ReplyDeleteOh I envy you with your wonderful sun porch. That is something we don't have around here in the desert southwest. I love the pillows you have made out of old quilts. If I had a partner for you it would not be to late to get in on the hatbox swap, but there just was not many people this time who lived in the USA who wanted to participate. My next swap is in the fall, and then one at Christmas. I will notify you of the next one. Happy Independence day!
