Remember this vintage tobacco jar I shared in a recent thrift store fun finds post?
Well, I gave it a simple little re-do. I just painted the lid white, did a little distressing...
and used it to hold swabs...
It transforms into a wonderful vanity jar...
I love a quick and easy re-do!
Until next time...
Looks so much nicer with the lid painted white.

This turned out beautifully! Perfect for the swabs. Great job and I love what you did to that basket in the second photo too!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day,

Very simple but very cool Linda.
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect repurposed for holding cotton swabs rather than nasty ol' tobacco! I love a simple and quick project, too. I've got to quit volunteering to take on our girls' projects!
ReplyDeleteQuick easy and so pretty too!

ReplyDeleteThat's my kind of project...nice and quick :)
ReplyDeleteI love the humidor for bathroom storage, and the white washed cover.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it fun when a fast fix brings as much pleasure as a three hour project?

Just a little dab of paint made all the difference, huh?
ReplyDeleteI just washed out a pretty candle jar that had a lid and decided I wanted it to go in the bathroom too!

Beautiful in its white "dress" now, dear Linda, and so much more wonderful to use in the bathroom, than plastic or such.
