Once again it's time for the Bachman's Holiday Ideas House! It's always one of my favorites! If you haven't joined the tour before, Bachman's is a well known home and garden company, and the Ideas Houses are held in an old family home on the flagship property in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You can visit my posts of all the earlier houses by clicking the link under my header photo! Also remember to click on any photo in these posts to enlarge it!
Let's get started! This Ideas House had an "Alpine Chic" decor! Very cozy and festive! The porch was ready for socializing with warm drinks!
I'd love spending some time there! And how about the beautiful living room, with its wall of mirrors...
and a spectacular tree!
The sweater look was everywhere...
How about this candle molded to look like a sweater...so real looking!
You wouldn't have to wonder where to store your suitcases...
and as always...a fun pet bed!
The sunroom was set up for entertaining...
and had a definite "up north" feeling! The wallpaper and window treatment added to the coziness...
The dining room featured this wonderful buffet...
and antler chandelier...
I especially loved the sweet place card holders...
So many beautiful ideas! Next post we'll continue the tour!
Before I go- the winners of the tickets for the Holiday Happening event this weekend are~
Robin of Happy At Home
Suzanne of Privet and Holly
and
Tammy of Tammy's In Love
Hope to see you all soon! Until next time...

The lamp made from a newel post is awesome. I'm not normally a poinsettia person, but I really love how they incorporated them throughout the house without them looking out of place. Can't wait for the rest of the tour.
ReplyDeleteYou know I saw Bachman and I am here in a minute. LOVE their decor this year. So cute Linda! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI've just started christmas decorating today - so the timing here is perfect...got a few ideas...thanks so much for sharing the photos for those of us so far away...I had to laugh with your use of the phrase "up north" - only us Midwesterners use that term - I never hear it out here - makes me a little homesick!
ReplyDeleteI like the sweater look pillows and candle covers. I like the greenery in all the different containers too. Thanks for he tour.

Thanks Linda for taking us along on the tour! What a clever idea that mirror wall is - so simple, yet effective. Too many good sights to pick a favorite, but I bet the smell was wonderful in there! Ann

Oh, my gosh... Bachman's!! I haven't thought about them in years! As we lived in Eden Praire for 4 years, they were huge when it came to flowers and decorating. Thanks for jarring my memory! I especially loved the canvas bag overflowing with greenery that was hung on the wall. So much to look at ... so many great ideas!

Good grief! Do these people ever rest at this house? Can you imagine how much fun it must be to work on decorating this place?? I have to say, the sweater look had me drooling, especially at the candles!

I always love these posts...I'm able to see what's going on since I never actually visit myself. Bachman's has such great things there. I'm surprised they don't sell more of the things they showcase at the house at their stores.
