The Bachman's 2013 Holiday Ideas House...

It's that time again...a Bachman's Ideas House tour!  This time is the 2013 Holiday Ideas House!   If it's the first time you've joined a tour, Bachman's is a well known Twin Cities landscape, home and garden, and floral design business.   They have an Ideas House three times a year in a 1920's era family home on the flagship property.  Just about everything
in the house is for sale
or available in the retail stores.

I am not compensated for these posts, I just enjoy sharing the inspiration with you!  There is a link at the top of my sidebar where you can visit posts from all of the previous Ideas Houses.  I hope you enjoy the tour!

Remember, you can click on any photo to enlarge it...and feel free to pin to Pinterest, there's a floating button on each photo.

The house is styled for "A Cozy, Contemporary Nordic Celebration"!  It is designed for a an event planner and her downtown business exec husband, and their daughter.

You enter the house in the charming porch, which is set up to entertain with a fun hot chocolate bar and wonderful red accents...

Lots of chalkboard elements in the house...

This old metal cart holds winter necessities...

Paper luminaries, moss, pinecones,
and ornaments decorate the window sill...

Old truck tire rims, stacked and topped with
glass make an inventive side table.

Tea towels, attached with clothespins,
make charming curtains!

A festive wreath greets you
as you enter the main house...

and a little mistletoe...

Here's the wonderful living room...
ready for holiday entertaining!

I love how a table runner
was used to accent this chair...

Hope you enjoyed part one!  Join me on my
next post, as we continue the tour!

I am joining Debra over at Common Ground for

Until next time...
