Hope you all are having a wonderful New Year! I have just returned from a lovely visit with my family in California but am still recuperating from the flu I caught on there on Christmas (and yes...I had a flu shot...)
Thought I'd share a fun little collection today! I love dog collectibles, and little vintage playing cards are plentiful and inexpensive! I wanted to make a fun display of my goodies on a door, where I could see and be inspired by them, in my studio.
Big vintage letters are a graphic start...
and a couple of pants hangers and some
colorful plastic clothespins hold lots of cards!
So many cute dogs...
It's fun to have something like this to look for when you're treasure hunting...a vintage deck of dog cards always brings a smile to my face!
Each card is a little work of art!
Until next time...I have a date with a cup of hot tea and honey...
That is a very cute collection. I have a good sized dog collection from my childhood- Your date sure sounds like a HOT one!;:) Hope you feel better soon- xo Diana

Hope you feel better. Guess California doesn't cure everything, and stuck inside with the flu in Minnesota right now isn't a bad thing!

Great idea!! I once had an old deck of cards with horses on them. I couldn't think of what to do with it. I couldn't use it to play cards with because a few of the cards were missing. Wish I would have seen this idea sooner. Awesome!
