I don't do much decorating for Valentine's Day, but yesterday I took a break from the kitchen painting, and made a quick and easy little project with a non-traditional twist. I had a vintage frame with an old fabric piece on board,
and decided it would make a good base.
I chose two pieces of Tim Holtz's wonderful papers...the first I used to cut some strips to cover the inner edges and applied them with double faced tape, creating a paper mat.
The second paper actually was the inspiration for my project...this wonderful montage of old photo booth photographs. I placed this piece
upon the paper mat with double face tape.
Such great faces...
Finally, I added some vintage game letter cards of various types and sizes to spell out
"BE MINE".
An unconventional valentine, but I love it...
I am joining~
Before I go, I wanted to thank you for all of your kind comments on my last post...the kitchen project is coming along nicely and I hope to share it with you soon!
Until next time...have a wonderful weekend!
I love it too - it looks so good it the frame. It made me smile :)

Great way to make an unconventional valentine! I love all the Tim Holtz stuff at Hobby Lobby, but I never know exactly what to do with it. It always has such great aged look though.
