It's been awhile since I've shared some fun finds! There were lots of the Itsy Bits And Pieces that I look for this week. Don't you love the look of these anagrams? And dominoes are always fun, too...
I found a bag of clothespins...the blue plastic ones are fun, too...
There were some 60's era wall maps...
And who doesn't love an old cookbook...especially one
as pretty as this 1943 Joy Of Cooking?
So cute...
Now that we have dug out from last week's snowstorms, hopefully I can get out for a little thrift therapy again soon! Have you had a fun find this week?
I'd love to hear about it!
I am joining~
Until next time...
Great finds, Linda! No finds for me this week, but, then again, I didn't really go out looking. Love the letter tiles!
ReplyDeleteOh I so miss the hunt for vintage goodies...we hope to head to the east side of Wisconsin antiquing this Friday if the weather cooperates. As always, you find so many fun things!

Those are all great finds, Linda. I really love that old cookbook!! And I have always loved those tiles-letters and dominoes. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteLovely fun finds! I love old cook books and yours does look really cute :)
ReplyDeleteI had a couple of fun finds too this week a couple of old art books ... one about Matisse and the other a copy of Queen Victoria's sketchbook £1 each :)
Glad you are no longer snowed in!
Karen x
Glad the snow has stopped for the moment. You sure found some great things. My sis and I went to a craft fair yesterday and visited a few thrift stores on the way home. We found a few things.
ReplyDeleteFun, fun, fun! I didn't have a chance to get out this weekend, but love all your goodies.
ReplyDeleteI love the cookbook, Linda! That blue color is gorgeous, what a lucky find! Thrifting down here sure is challenging, either way too overpriced, or just a bunch of dirty old junk! Sure can't wait to get home and visit my usual thrifty haunts:)
ReplyDeleteI love old game pieces. I'm anxious to see what you do with yours.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue cookbook and the game pieces. I haven't had a good find for a while now, I can't wait for yardsales!
ReplyDeleteWow great itsy bits and pieces!! Goodness that is all you northerns have done this year...Dug out!
ReplyDeleteCarol
You did well, I can never pass up clothespins and dominoes! (I tore out carpet and staples all weekend...no fun here!)
ReplyDeleteI can't pass up game pieces either, especially old letter tiles. Love the color of that cookbook too. I went out shopping yesterday. I didn't bring home a lot of stuff but I found some fun stuff.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Jane
I love game pieces too. Fun for displays or projects!
ReplyDeleteI am jealous of your maps!! I've been on the lookout for one of Japan and California. I don't want new ones, I want used/loved ones... I don't have as much time to thrift as I used to, but hopefully that will be changing a bit in the upcoming weeks.... bit off more than I can chew and I'm finally downsizing my schedule! I need the certain kind of therapy that thrifting/estate saling brings... Ann
ReplyDeleteYou always find such cool stuff Linda.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a looooog time since finding anything in a thrift around here. They are all dried up :(
Amy
Where on earth to you find your itsy bitsy pieces. I never find anything like that! GREAT! Love them! I need to shop with you.
ReplyDeleteThe cookbook is wonderful! All great pieces that you found!

Love your finds, Linda! I especially like the little drawer you have the letters in. Glad you are able to dig out of the snow. Wish I could send you some sunshine!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Linda! I wasn't as lucky as you. I went to an indoor yard sale this weekend and left without purchasing one thing! Enjoy your week, Gail
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm definitely in need of a little thrifting therapy today. It's been slow at the thrift stores lately and I need to find something fun! Enjoy the week!
ReplyDeleteLove those letters! Are you going to sell them?
ReplyDeleteThe Anagram letters caught my eye, too! LOVE THEM. I have a hard time parting with letters, or even using them in projects. I don't know why...I think I am a letter hoarder. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the letters too. Maps are a hot seller for us but i want to keep them for projects I never do.
ReplyDeleteOmigosh! What a haul!!!! I need to shop with you...
ReplyDeleteGreat finds!
The anagram letters would be such fun for leaving messages! I love the old cookbook, too. I found a cute baby quilt this week, so I'm happy. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been slim pickins here at the thrift stores lately! You got some goodies for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteSusan
You found some great stuff, I especially love the vintage map of Canada. I have not been searching for goodies for a while now.
ReplyDeletelove your finds...all of them!
ReplyDeleteI especially like the maps and cookbook. I am a sucker for old maps (have a HUGE one from 1914 hanging in my living room) and anything blue, hence my love of the cookbook. Great finds :)
