The kitchen/dining room project is FINALLY finished (I can't even believe it) and we are loving it! You might want to check out the BEFORE , to see the difference. We do not have a large house and the kitchen and dining areas share a room divided by an island. I really wanted to lighten up and unify the look of the two areas, while keeping them separate. We removed the wallpaper, put down a new floor, added board and batten, and painted. I had finished repainting the cabinets last summer and the appliances and countertops were replaced several years ago.
I love the feeling of French Nordic farmhouse style...and used what I had to bring some of that feeling into the space, especially in the dining area. In this post, I'll share some photos of the space and in my next post I'll share the details and decor!
You might recognize some of the projects I've been working on lately...
(I'm heading out to paint the living room area next)
Now, for the kitchen space...
My husband left me a little note on the pantry chalkboard last summer...I decided to keep it there...
Quite a change, isn't it? The space feels so much bigger, and so bright...makes me in a good mood just to walk into the room!
Next time, I'll share the little details and the projects of the room!
I am joining~
Until next time...
Linda- It is just absolutely gorgeous! It doesn't even look like the same space. You guys did a wonderful job. Don't you just keep looking at it and can hardly believe it? Hope you have a great rest of the week (in your new kitchen). xo Diana
