Ready for the Bachman's Spring 2014 Ideas House tour? This one is entitled "Aegean Oasis", with beautiful blues and greens! Each Ideas House is different...new paint, furnishings, colors...and the designers put together a mix of new, vintage, and repurposed pieces. If this is your first time joining the tour, you can click on the link on my sidebar for posts on all of the previous houses...so much creativity! Remember you can click on any photo to enlarge it. I'll let the photos do most of the talking...
we'll start with the porch!
Next the living room...
Here's the adjoining sunroom...fun wallpaper...
Pretty! Next post we'll continue with the dining room and kitchen...
Until next time...
Love the colors - thanks so much for sharing.

Linda- It just gets better and better! I LOVE all the color in this one. That dining room is fabulous. There is such an air of refined rustic through the whole house that appeals to me. I just LOVE it. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteLove it, as always!
All of the blue and greens scream spring.
I always look forward to the times you share Bachman's Home Show.
Wow, lots of blues and green. And Asian too. Isn't this different than usual?
ReplyDeleteA very 1970's vibe. Love that porch. Pinning it.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the exact thing as Olive (above) - a definite 70's vibe - we had these exact colors in my Mom's house back in the day!
ReplyDeleteLinda!
ReplyDeleteThis looks beautiful. I love all the wood texture and green and blue. It certainly announces SPRING! when you see it.

Thanks Linda...Always look forward to this....Goodness there is such a kick back to the 60's and 70's blue and greens. Love the glass balls floating in front of the windows....That looks like a doiley in front of that one window!

Very different from past ones! Love the tall glass lily looking things in the trough. Resembles the Chihuly glass sculptures they have at our conservatory. Can't wait to see the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your photos Linda. I didn't go this time. I was in the Twin Cities the day it opened for for some reason just wasn't interested in going. I'll just enjoy your photos this time.
ReplyDeleteLots of inspiration in the rooms. Thanks for sharing! I look forward to the next post on the kitchen and dining room. Have a great week! xx Dianne

So many wonderful ideas. I especially love the sunroom planter!
ReplyDeleteWhat great colors and ideas. Some of the glass reminds me of the 70s. I love blue in home dec.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, Linda - I can only imagine how nice it was in person! I am loving that blue and green color scheme. The porch is my favorite space and I love the glass balls hanging in the window. Lots of beautiful inspiration here, thanks for the tour! xo Karen
ReplyDeleteWow!! so many wonderful ideas!! I love the huge shell with all of the tapers standing in it! I, too, think the glass balls in the window look fabulous! VERY pretty color scheme.

Again so much to inspire..... and amuse! I love the belt around the plant pot! I'd never think of that in a million years. This tour has a very different feel to it than previous ones. Reminds me of my childhood - growing up in the 70's. Makes me happy :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing...
