Blog Tour Fun...

I hope you will...

Recently I was asked by Laurel of Chipping With Charm to participate in a blog tour!  Laurel is one of the most creative bloggers out there with wonderful re-use projects, creative vignettes and displays!  She is a stay-at-home mom who sells her creations in shows and shares a booth with her friend Joan in Antiques Downtown in Elk River, Minnesota.  I have had the pleasure of meeting Laurel in person, and she is as sweet as she is on her wonderful blog!  Thank you for inviting me on the tour, Laurel!
Take a look at some of her creativity...

I hope you stop by and visit Laurel...you'll be glad you did!

Now, for my part of the blog tour I'll be answering four questions...

1.What am I working on?

I always have my hand in a lot of projects at the same time...right now I am working on some new garden beds, some painting and re-use projects, and writing projects.  A BIG project I am working on with my daughter right now, is the creation of a new online store offering vintage and vintage-inspired finds and creations.
Hopefully we will open it this fall!

2. How does my work differ from others of it's genre?

I know there are many of us who love vintage and re-using it!  We have great thrift stores in this area, and I have an eye for finding what's there.  After four years of doing monthly vintage sales...display and vignettes come pretty naturally to me,
and I enjoy sharing them.

3. Why do I write/create what I do?

I tend to do what I love and feeds my spirit creatively.  I'm always looking for new challenges and learning new things.

4. How does your writing/creating process work?

For the blog, I am very visually inspired...I see or find something and just go with it.  I tend to write about what I'm inspired by rather than feeling like it's a chore.  And I don't feel the need to write on a schedule.  When I do have a deadline or assignment...I tend to start immediately, and just start jotting down my thoughts on paper, adding to it whenever I have another thought.  When I feel I'm ready, I pull it together into an article and edit from there.  I really enjoy that type of writing, too.
Creating is very often based by what I find, or what I need for my home.  I enjoy trying new mediums and experimenting.

Now, I'd like to share a couple of my favorite bloggers with you!

Robin enjoys sharing her life on her Happy At Home blog...finds, projects, sewing, recipes...I love her bright and happy style!  I have been able to meet Robin in person, too, and she is a sweetheart! Take a look at some of the fun from her blog!

Next, I'd like to share...

Revi has a lovely blog filled with beautiful finds, vignettes, and projects...she hopes to offer encouragement and inspiration.  She has a beautiful etsy shop , as well...

And she has a fun new party for sharing finds...hope you'll stop by and join us!

It's been fun being part of the tour...I hope you'll stop by and visit the other bloggers!
