With Thanksgiving coming up next week, I wanted to decorate our mantel in a way that would bridge into our Christmas decorating! I have found the easiest way to do this is with the use of greens and a natural look.
My rusty reindeer is a favorite piece for the mantel...
My rusty reindeer is a favorite piece for the mantel...
Last year I bought this graphic banner from Paramore Art Works on etsy...
Two bottle brush trees add a bit of bling...
I added little pearly beads and a vintage gummed star to this bleached tree. The base is made of an old typewriter ribbon spool topped with a pierced metal light reflector...
I love how it all comes together...
Simple. Lovely. Elegant!

Your reindeer is so neat! I love his rusty look.
ReplyDeleteI love your mantel, Linda. I really need to do like you did, and just use some greens with a few other elements. I tend to not decorate at all for Thanksgiving, because it seems like too much work for such a short period of time.
ReplyDeleteLove your bottle brush tree of course since I working on my little bottle brush trees, I have more ideas but no more trees LOL
