On my recent trip to the thrift store, I found a 69 cent item I had never seen before. I am sure some of you will recognize it. After examining it, we figured it out...but I'll share a few clues with you before telling you what it is. See the faint number on top?
It is a wood box. All sides are covered, but do not open...
There are holes covering the top, and two holes on each end and on the bottom. It's quite worn...
This metal tag is on the front...
Then we spotted this very faint word...
Can you read what it says?
Scissors...
It's an old scissors rack from a school...
and the holes on each end are for carrying it.

Have you seen one of these before?
It's always fun to learn about more about a find!
Thank you for all the sweet comments on my last post! I even had a few people on my Itsy Bits And Pieces Facebook page who commented they had one of the charming cat planters, too!
I really appreciate your visits!
I'll be taking a short break...I am under the weather with the bug going around here. Heading for a warm blanket and tea...
Until next time...
