It's that time again...another Bachman's Holiday Ideas House tour! For those of you who have wondered...NO...this isn't my house! Bachman's is a home, garden, and floral business in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Three times a year, they hold a seasonal ideas house on what used to be an old family home on their flagship property in Minneapolis. Twenty percent of ticket sales from this Ideas House goes to the Washburn Center for Children.
This time the theme is Make It Merry! I'll let the photos do most of the the talking...you can click on any photo for a closer view...and feel free to Pin any photo you like!
When I was there last week, there was still green grass...
but now it is snow-covered,
and we are expecting another snowstorm today, too...
We'll start the tour in the front porch...
Now, we'll head into the house...
and into the living room/sunroom space...
I love how they used these drawers...and the planked walls were done with wallpaper!
The dining room was very festive...
and set up for a buffet style meal...
The kitchen is always so charming...
The final stop on part one of the tour
is the main level powder room...love the stenciled walls!
Next post, we'll head upstairs! I hope maybe you found something to inspire your Christmas decorating!
I am joining~
Until next time...
This is exactly what I'd like my house to look like. I can't imagine having that many decorations. Mine will be simple this year now that we are living in an apartment. And I just don't have it in my to decorate. Of course, I'll have some for the kids.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous wonderland! I LOVE the tree they created on the wall with pieces of branches, and I need that huge shelving unit!! Thanks for sharing, Linda.

If only I could have a bunch of little elves come over and transform my home overnight.....wouldn't it be wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteDarn it! I was just here and forgot to leave a comment. I got so excited about seeing the house I just pinned and ran :) I think this is my favorite of their holiday decor houses. It's very woodsy and sort of traditional with a twist. Like the skis over the porch windows. Believe it or not I asked my husband to hand my red skis over my front door this year and he couldn't figure out how to do it without punching a big hole in the siding, so that was a no go. I have to show him this photo to prove it can be done! Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, Linda! It is almost too much to take in, isn't it? So many good ideas there. Took me a second to see what you meant about the drawers. I was looking at the pictures--finally "got it"...lol Thanks for all the pictures and taking the time to post this. I love all the ideas here. Amazing! xo Diana
