Time to share a little Christmas
and winter decorating from our home to yours!
This weekend we had 7" of snow
and I always think it makes the best decoration...
Come on in and visit...
This chalkboard printable from Dear Lillie
makes a fun focal point on our simple mantel...
The sunporch has a little decorating this year...
I didn't put up garlands this year...just dressed the newel post
with a couple of old scarves...
Tiny fairy lights look like a starry night over the Nativity...
The tiny Christmas Cactus I bought last year,
has doubled in size and is blooming again!
I've been having fun painting signs this Christmas...
wishing you Peace...
I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse at the Christmas decor here at Itsy Bits And Pieces!
I am joining Debra of Common Ground and
Brenda of Cozy Little House for their
Home For Christmas link party!
There will be lots of inspiration!
Until next time...
LOVE IT ALL
ReplyDeleteOMGOSH your house is decorated so wonderful. I love your snow and i am jealous I want snow however I think it's all going north this year.
The old candy boxes with chocolate covered cherries are wonderful.
Love the plaid throws and scarfs, also the red and white pillow in the chair.
I could say something nice about every picture.
Merry Christmas
Linda, every single detail is SO charming and beautiful! Your snow covered sled on the porch is the best! Every picture is perfect ;) Hugs, Cecilia
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of snow, but you're so right... It's the best decoration! I love the red sled and your porch decor. Your home is full of those charming little details, the old white truck, the blanket ladder, that cupboard... Love it all!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas decor is wonderful! Loving that Buffalo check bedding!!! Btw, I thought that tin said Snickers for a second and I got all excited, but Google tells me that means "sugar". Almost as good as a tin full of Snickers :)
ReplyDeleteLinda what a pleasure to visit your home decorated for Christmas. The old white truck with a tree was a favourite but I loved every picture you shared.

ReplyDeleteLinda, I swear if I lived near by , you would be calling the police...because I would be driving by so often,to see all your wonderful decorating and trying to peep in the windows. LOL. I love the red sled with the skates hang on it. Wishing you a merry Christmas. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteBrenda
Gorgeous - you did a great job, lots of wonderful touches tucked into all the corners of your beautiful home!!
ReplyDeleteLinda - your Christmas displays are so charming...and with all that snow...perfection. I especially love the corn husk(?)Santa...a real keeper. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! The Santa looks like he was made with straw orsomething like it, and wood. I found him in a thrift store a few years ago...a keeper, indeed!
DeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful! I miss my home decorating while in Oz. So yours gave me great enjoyment!

Your home is beautifully decorated inside and out, Linda! All of your vintage treasures make your home one of a kind, and your hutch is one of my favorites no matter the season. The addition of fluffy white snow outdoors is icing on the cake!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your Christmas tour with us!
I actually found my way onto Instagram and I'm enjoying all of your gorgeous photos!
Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda!
DeleteIt's fun to see your wonderful vintage treasures used throughout your home to create such a warm and cozy Christmas. And I agree, snow makes everything more festive.

Linda-You have such great things to use for Christmas! Seeing your red sled makes me want to bring mine inside and paint it! We have snow, too, and although I don't like the cold I do like to see snow for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI really like your signs and printed chalkboard jars. Everything just feels homey and I love the warm feeling I see there. xo Diana
Oh Linda, yes, I enjoyed this tour! The snow is beautiful (THERE! not here!). Just to mention a few of my favorite things....your chalkboard art looks great, love the scarves on the banister, and the display of choc covered cherry candy boxes, and that Santa with bird (is that a corn husk??!) Your home is most welcoming with all the vintage charm. Thank you for showing how to use those things and inspiring!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!

DeleteYour house for Christmas is like a big Ol' Hug! Seeing those Chocolate Covered Cherry boxes reminds me of my Daddy. Those were his favorite and he always stocked up at Christmas. LOVE the little lamb mold, the bedding, and all the rest. We got a little snow here yesterday, and you're right, it's the best decoration of all. Christmas hugs, xoxo Deb
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I love it all. Especially your red transferware and vintage boxes and silver. So much Christmas goodness. Have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteAm just now getting a chance to stop in and see your decorating. Beautiful! I especially like the old Tonka truck and the chocolate covered cherry boxes. Those used to be such a Christmas specialty! I had a great-aunt who loved them. We knew getting chocolate-covered cherries for Aunt Bessie was always a good gift idea!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! My husband's grandfather loved chocolate covered cherries, too...fun memories!
