One of my favorite ways to personalize art in our home is by using
photographs I have taken! Not only is it personal, but serves as a
reminder of the day I took it and as a souvenir of the place!

Each year, my husband and I visit beautiful fall color areas in the Minneapolis- St. Paul metro area. The river roads are always spectacular, and another place we love is Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis. It is like a hidden jewel. Last year I took some photos that we thought would be nice keepsakes of our day, and
Canvas Factory offered to create a lovely 16x 20 canvas print of one of my photos!
It turned out so beautifully...
The detail is wonderful...this photo is actually from
my Instagram account and was taken with my cell phone.
I ordered my canvas with a mirror edge, it allows all of the photo
to be used on the canvas front, without having to use any for the edges...
They seal the back so nicely and attach hangers...
It makes a special piece of fall art in our home!
It's fun using our old ladder as a makeshift easel!
**THIS GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED**
Canvas Factory is offering to give a 16 x 20 canvas print
to one of my readers, too! If you would like a chance to win,
just leave a comment letting me know how you would use it!
The giveaway is open to U.S. and Canada residents, and will end
Friday September 22nd, 9 PM CST. Be sure I have a way to reach you! Good luck!
I received product from Canvas Factory for myself and a reader.
All opinions are, as always, my own.
My canvas is wonderful...thank you, Canvas Factory!
Until next time...
Linda, that's really neat! The canvas makes the photo stand out so much more than it would if it were printed on one dimensional paper. Love it on your ladder. :)
ReplyDeleteI love taking pictures too, and would use the canvas similar to the way you did. What a neat way to display your own photos. The mirror edge is a great feature.
ReplyDeleteI would have a canvas made of my 4 kids at the beach.

Did you ever see the youtube video of the guy who went over Minnehaha Falls in a kayak? Crazy! If I win, I'll definitely get one of my photos from my travels put on a canvas and then I'll add it to my travel gallery wall. Thanks for the chance to win Linda :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that photo! I would love a canvas of one of my photos. I would hang it on the wall by my dining table. What a great giveaway! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would use it with one of our spectacular pix from the CA coast!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a canvas of a photo I just found of my parents sitting at their vacation home - they passed in January and February of 2015. ro2write@sbcglobal.net Thank you for the great post - beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteI'm also in Minnesota. I took a really cool picture yesterday of multiple butterflies on my sedum that would look beautiful on a canvas. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the ladder to display your canvas! If I won, I'd either use a black and white photo my son took of my husband's 52 Chevy or a photo I took of my grandmother's painting of a leopard. I've been wanting to do both on canvas. The hard part would be deciding which to do first! :)
ReplyDeleteIf I win, I will probably use a picture of my wife and me or maybe a picture of clouds that my wife takes many pictures of. It just so happens that we are putting up our pictures after painting our walls. We need more pictures, and having one that we could win would allow us to make the kind of pictures that mostly follows what we need to fill some space. Thank you for the opportunity to win!
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I would have a picture of our family printed on canvas. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI would use it to display our wedding picture, I love how you incorporated yours into your home with the ladder and beautiful hats!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to use it for one of our family photos!

ReplyDeleteI would use to to display my daughters graduation picture.
ReplyDeleteWould use it to enlarge a wonderful photo of my husband who died recently.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photograph you chose, Linda! I take so many photographs, I would need to ponder which one to choose :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I always enjoy your blog. I can't imagine living where it gets so cold in winter but the landscape you have there looks beautiful. I'm a southern girl in Florida and I'm cold if it hits 70 or below. We have our own type of beauty here. I love our big, old Oaks with the Spanish Moss and how we can have flowers blooming pretty much all year long. I could do without the hurricanes though. The canvas of your waterfall is really pretty. I just had all of my children and grandchildren here and we took a family photo in the park one day so that would be really nice printed on a canvas. Thank you for sharing your vintage lovelies and your home. My heartfelt best, Kimberly
ReplyDeleteI have never thought to use an old ladder like that! I have one that's been waiting for its purpose! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple canvas pictures of my son's senior portraits and I would love to add a special photo from when he was six. It's one of those old timey photos and he's in an oversized jacket, big hat with a "press pass" in the band, and he's leaned up against an antique typewriter. All that's missing is the cigarette. LOL
Thanks for the opportunity. debbieomi at hotmail
That picture you took is gorgeous and the canvas really showcases it. If I won, I would use a picture of the grandkids at the beach together - this year was the first time that happened! Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI would use it over a chest I have in my living room. I want to rotate the picture above it.
ReplyDeleteI would use it to give my parents a picture canvas of their grandchildren.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to use it for a photo from our family trip to Ireland. It would look beautiful in our living room.

ReplyDeleteWe saw hundreds of lady slippers by Warroad on our yearly trip to Lake of the Woods. My daughter, as a horticulture grad student, was ecstatic and took lots of pictures. I'd have the canvas made with one of those beautiful photos to put in our living room.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet it looks on the ladder and so much better than being tucked away in a box :)
ReplyDeleteI can't enter but good luck to everyone else :)

Photo Canvas Collage prints are the ideal way to display lots of your stunning images without buying masses of bulky picture frames or cluttering up the house. With the use of smartphones and readily available digital cameras, we have become a nation of amateur photographers, using Instagram to capture our favourite moments. Out of this we now have some incredible photographs we are sure to treasure forever; the problem is there are just too many of them, making the task almost impossible when
