It's that time again! This week I visited the 2017 Bachman's Fall Ideas House! It is always one of my favorites because of all of the fall colors and plants! If this is your first time on the tour...a little background...Bachman's is a long time Twin Cities garden, floral, and home decor business. The Ideas House is held in an old family home on the flagship property and showcases their new product and plants using a little vintage and fun ideas! Their design staff works hard to totally change it up three times a year and everything in the house is for sale. 20% of the ticket price goes to a local charity...this time Twin Cities Habitat For Humanity's Women Build.
So if you are ready...
We'll start in the front porch!
The theme of this Ideas House is "Autumn Gatherings".
It is made for friends and family to gather in a stylish, cozy atmosphere.
I'll let the photos do most of the talking...

Let's head inside...
This time the designers switched things up!
In what is usually the living room...they created a dining area!
With ambient lighting sources available in the room, they could have fun with this chandelier made of individual little terrariums...
They created a coffee bar on a console to the side.
The mantel...
and off to the side, there was a loveseat with more places to eat.
I love the plaid table runner!
The sunroom connects to this space for added places to serve and entertain.
Just across the foyer, in what used to be the dining room, they created a parlor...
a more intimate entertaining area set up with wine and appetizers.
The kitchen is always a cheery place...
Love that farmhouse sink!
And finally on this level...the lower bathroom.
So tiny, yet so cute!
I hope you enjoyed this part of the tour and found some fall inspiration!
Next time, we'll head upstairs!
If you would like to see more of my Bachman's Ideas House posts, there are links at the top of this page and on the categories gadget on the sidebar.
I have posts for every Ideas House since they started in 2010!
Until next time...
Linda I love when you take us on a tour of Bachman's. It looks like a new twist on fall décor. I love that wall of built ins. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteMy sister lives in Minnesota. I will tell her of this place. Maybe she already knows:) I would love to go visit!
ReplyDeleteIt's a fun tour!
DeleteI'm so glad you are able to share these tours. I always enjoy the ideas!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carlene...I enjoy it, too!
DeleteOh yay! It's always so much fun when you share these tours. I love that kitchen sink and the little cafe curtain above it. They used beautiful, rich colors in this home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to visit. Lots of fall inspiration!

I live here, but have only made it out there one time. Thanks for these tours, I;m so excited to get to see them!
ReplyDeleteThey're fun, aren't they?
DeleteThat was a sweet tour! How does it work? How can one purchase items without someone coming behind them to replenish so it looks nice for the next folks who come in for a tour? What a wonderful idea to raise funds for a charity.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Much of the decor is available in the retail store and greenhouses right next to the house, some are on their online site, too... and one-of-a-kind pieces are available for pickup at the end of show. The tickets are only $5, $1 goes to charity, and they give you a $5 off a $25 purchase coupon, too. It's a lot of fun to shop their stores and Patrick's Cafe and Bakery is in one of the greenhouses...a wonderful place to eat! It's just a fun day!
DeleteI was going to ask the same thing...what happens at the end of the show? Is the stuff sold? Now I know. They really do a nice job every year. I wish we had something like that here!
ReplyDeleteI always love getting to go to Bachman's with you!
ReplyDeleteI love your Bachman's tours. Someday I'd love to go in person. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh Linda I always look forward to this tour each year. I think this might be my fave year of this house. I love that decor on the sun porch. Love the mix of old with new. So pretty. I bet you had a great time. Thanks for sharing this with us once again.

Wow, Linda, how amazing! I'll have to come back when I have time and ponder all of this! I started off by saying, "I like that the best," and then I'd scroll and see more that I loved. Those fall pillows are great! I'm just too practical to buy many things that I can use only one time year. Oops! Did I really say that? LOL! NOT!
ReplyDeleteAmazing how many
ReplyDeletemodern touches there
are now at the Idea House,
compared to when we
first started going. Love
the use of the floral -- my
"signature color!" Thank
you for the virtual tour,
sweet friend.
