Well, it is still pretty wintery here with snow and cold, but it is supposed to warm up again this week! I am still continuing to surround myself with spring indoors, however! Today I wanted to share a simple flower arrangement!
It started with this tin wall pocket I found at the thrift store for 25 cents. It was a nice size, but I knew I wanted to re-do the look. It was covered with a striped paper that was firmly attached, but had seen better days.
I gave it a wash of white paint and while the paint was wet, dabbed it in areas with green, gray, and taupe paint accents, and blended until I was happy with the look.
I filled the wall pocket with some pretty white faux ranunculi
that I found at Hobby Lobby.
To give it a spring feeling I printed a tag with a trio of running rabbits from Pinterest and tied it onto one of the stems with a length of gray ribbon.
Simple and pretty for spring! You could makeover any type
of paintable flower container to get this look!
Until next time...
Linda, I like your paint job on the vase so much better than the original. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
