Have you started decorating for Christmas and winter yet?
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our home now!
I have been having fun decorating and working on some projects, too!
For a long time I have wanted to make a North Pole Mailbox, and I finally did it.
{This post contains some affiliate links}
I started with a vintage metal mailbox I had.
The openings on the front needed to be covered, so I used some Bethany Lowe mica covered decoration I had found thrifting a few years ago, and glued the panel under the lid front. You could cut out a piece of boxboard, paint it white, and cover it with mica or snow glitter to fit a mailbox you have.
Now to decorate the lid!
I created a graphic at PicMonkey , and printed it to the size I wanted.
I rubbed the back with chalk and traced the letters to transfer them.
Then I used it as a loose pattern to fill in with white craft paint.
I also used the craft paint to lightly paint some snowflake rubber stamps and stamp them on the lid, too.
Adding some jingle bells gave it a real holiday feeling!
It makes a fun decoration!
I've included some affiliate links below for some items that could help you create your own North Pole Mailbox, if you'd like to try making one of your own!
