This week I had some fun creating a Christmas vignette with a musical theme!
It's full of vintage and antique pieces and lots of silver and gold!
This week I am joining a creative group of bloggers for
A Merry Musical Blog Hop!
A big thank you to Amber of Follow The Yellow Brick Home
for hosting it for us! I love her beautiful home!
If you have just hopped over from Judith's blog, Botanic Bleu, welcome!
I know you enjoyed her always wonderful decor ideas!
And I am so happy you have stopped by to see what I am up to!
I gathered together some of my vintage musical items for this vignette, and added some pieces with age and patina. Sheet music and old music books are perfect.
I added in old Christmas cards, letters, and photos...
Vintage jingle and sleigh bells are fun...
along with tarnished silverplate and silvery pinecones.
An old broken violin and toy piano make me smile!
I think these old honeycomb ornaments are pieces of pretty, don't you?
I added other vintage and antique pieces to the mix...
golden page edge books,
a little ceramic house,
and beaded Christmas decor.
Everything came together harmoniously...
Be sure to visit the other bloggers on the hop! There is lots of wonderful musical Christmas inspiration! Next stop is Jann of Have A Daily Cup Of Mrs. Olson!
I know you will enjoy her whimsical decor!
Until next time...
