A few weeks ago, I visited the 2018 Bachman's Holiday Ideas House!
It's always a fun tour! I love seeing the Christmas
and winter decor and getting inspiration for my own decorating!
Bachman's is a long standing Minnesota home, garden, and floral business with several branches and online. Since 2010, they have been holding seasonal ideas houses in an old family home on the flagship property to showcase their current products and fun ideas. Nearly everything in the house is for sale, and 20% of the ticket price goes to charity...this time, to The Children's Theatre Company.
We'll start the tour in the front porch! The theme this time is "Modern Plaid",
and there was lots of black, white, gray, and red colors! I'll let the photos
do most of the talking...you can click on the photos for a larger view.

The living room was so cozy...
I loved all of the different pillows in the house.
The sunroom was very festive!
These crackers are so decorative with the birch paper!
The dining room continued with the color theme...
as did the kitchen.
I love these little houses!
Such a cheery shelf!
The lower bathroom shared products from the llama fad...because, as my friend Suzanne (Privet and Holly) joked,"Nothing says Christmas like a llama..."
It is very colorful and whimsical...
Next time, we'll finish the tour with the upstairs, and the outdoor decorating!
I hope you enjoyed the tour! Remember there is a link on my top menu bar that goes to all of my previous Bachman's Ideas House posts...lots of inspiration!
Until next time...
Thank you for the tour Linda.... so much loveliness to enjoy and be inspired by. I love the big bauble decoration.. with the words on it.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to curl up with one of those snowmen cushions :) So sweet.
Karenxxx
Thank you, Karen! I loved those cushions, too...reminded me of old paint-by-number paintings!
DeleteLove everything about Bachman's this year. Being a Christmas Plaid fan, this rang all my Christmas Bells! The British wood art with the deer form is my fave piece!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debra! I'm a big fan of plaid, too!
DeleteThey always out do themselves to make every house tour inventive and special! Got some great ideas!
ReplyDeleteBrenda
Thank you, Brenda! I always get ideas, too!
DeleteI always love to see how they decorated! Thank you for sharing each time. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cecilia! It's always fun to see their new ideas!
DeleteThis is definitely all out! haha! I love all of the pillows. But especially the snow scenes and that holly pillow with a black background. That potted arrangement out front is fab too. Fun!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jacqueline! I love all of the great pillows, too! They always have beautiful outdoor decoration!
DeleteI always enjoy this tour with you each year Linda. Love that greenery on the mantel. How gorgeous. I cannot wait to see more of the upstairs. Merry Christmas Linda. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
Thank you, Kris! I always enjoy the upstairs rooms, too!
DeleteThere are so many ideas to gather in the house.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the window treatment of branches and lights.
Thank you, Carol! They come up with so many great ideas for window treatments!
DeleteCute, cute, cute! What was the plaid box with a latch that looks like it was under a table (you know I'd pick that out)?
ReplyDeleteBTW, I just bought some Christmas pajama pants at Walmart that had llamas on them! Llamas are the new snowmen I guess :)
Maybe llamas ARE the new snowmen...or reindeer! The plaid box, looked like a record case or many one of those storage boxes for paperwork. It was made of metal.
DeleteI am not into llamas but I loved the plaid and checks!
