Fun Finds For Fall

We are getting a little break from the fall weather here...it is back in the 8o's for a few days! With trees starting to turn color, September is a pretty time of year here! I've been doing a little decorating and thought I would share

some of my recent fun finds for fall and some of the sources, too!

The first find was this pretty vintage wood bowl from the thrift store! I love the light wood color. The pumpkins found at Dollar Tree this week were perfect in it. They have lots of colors, and pumpkins made of different materials. I painted the non-fabric pumpkins with white craft paint.

I also found these two little squirrel shakers and acorns at Dollar Tree!

Another find from the thrift store was this great vintage apple bushel basket lid!

It's a fun decoration for apple season!

I took a trip to IKEA this week, and our store was selling their faux lavender plants for only $1.49! A great markdown! Purple is so pretty with with fall colors...

Another fun find was this great set of four maple leaves throw pillow covers (affiliate link) on Amazon.

These look so great all around our home...I love them!

My last find for today was this great vintage chalkware cat from the thrift store!

I think it will be fun to add to Halloween decor!

Wow! You really found some great items! You have a good eye for spotting the treasures! I have to dig out my wooden bowl to use for a center piece. Thanks for the inspiration!

What great finds! The bowl, the basket lid, the lavender (They were expensive at our Ikea in Chicago early in the summer-go figure)....I almost bought those little squirrels myself! xo Kathleen

I love the lavender plants. I like the idea of painting the pumpkins white. I have a few orange ones that I don't use...painting them would work for me. You have some great Fall pieces! xo

Very pretty fall touches, Linda - I really like the white pumpkins in the wood bowl - I might steal that idea :) The leaf pillows are really pretty and of course, I always love your vintage finds.
