Recently I worked on a little spring entryway decor! I know it isn't spring yet, but in Minnesota we have had some days over 40 degrees and some melting snow...
and in Minnesota, that feels like spring is on the way! I thought I would share
our new "welcome to spring" entryway with you today!

Vintage gardening goodies are always perfect for spring decorating!
I love this old berry basket and clay pots! Thrift stores are great places to find old gardening stuff...the Scott's Lawn Care book was a fun find!
A vintage flower basket is perfect for holding any ivy topiary...
The sign my daughter painted will always welcome guests to our Oak Beach Cottage...
I used one of my favorite canvas prints on the wall...
A vintage sap bucket holds artificial forsythia. I found mine at Dollar Tree. Forsythia is one of the first sights of spring here, and I always look forward to seeing it bloom!
With the onset of March, I know it won't be long!
Have you started bring a little spring decor into your home?
Until next time...
Your entryway is so pretty! I need to dig some of my spring decor out of the basement. Of course we just got our 1st real snowfall of the winter NOW. Where was it in December when I would have appreciated it more!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Makes me think spring is on its way soon. You always arrange the prettiest vignettes!

I love all these spring touches to much Linda! It's chilly in Florida but the sun has been shining the past few days and I can hear the bird singing each morning. I can't wait for Spring to arrive. It always feels like a new beginning. Hugs for a happy week, CoCo
ReplyDeleteI just started incorporating lighter decor and splashes of yellow, too! Great idea to use the faux forsythia and I love your new vintage find (the Lawn Care book). Perfect for your vignette!
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow of the forsythia and the blue in the old book. Looks so pretty in your Spring vignette. I hope we see an early Spring. Have a great weekend.

As you probably know, the single digits this week hardly induce any spring fever...so I'm still waiting for real spring spirit to strike. I need to put my polar bears away---before I can do anything flowery/birdy/or bunny! Grins...
ReplyDeleteNo bunnies here yet, either...
DeleteI haven't done much in the way of bringing spring indoors, but there sure is a lot of it popping up outdoors here in Georgia. xo Laura
ReplyDeleteSuch a cheerful entry, Linda! Love the vintage ivy basket and your daughter's sweet sign. Even the little plaid umbrella is darling. Spring is teasing us here in Washington - one day sunny and warm and the next cold and gray. Looking forward to an extra hour of daylight next week, though! Sending hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteThat book is an awesome find! I love using forsythia this time of year, too. We just need yellow in every way!
