A Fun Swap...

This week I did a really fun swap with Kim from Numinosity !  Kim is an artist who makes the most wonderful lampwork beads (you can see some beauties on the card above), altered art, and jewelry ~ I can't imagine making beautiful beads like she does!  I wish I was a better photographer to better capture their beauty... I just love them and can't wait to make some jewelry with them!

The double ended beads have copper wires which can be shaped...

This beautiful curled copper piece with bead is actually made to be a paper clip, but it's so pretty, I'd like to make it into a pendant!  Kim told me the little silver praying figurine is a Milagro...Spanish for miracle... and that people pin them on the Virgin of Guadalupe for miracles...

The colors in the beads are really lovely...

Kim also sent me some other fun goodies...a little pin, some fun ephemera...love the high heels...

some great old flash cards...

some handmade paper...

and this fun Mexican lottery card!

So many fun goodies and wonderful items from her fresh perspective has really inspired my creative juices! I can't wait to start creating!  I hope you'll stop by Kim's blog and say hi!
Thanks SO much, Kim...it was SO much FUN!!

OH...before you go...don't forget to enter my  GIVEAWAY

Until next time...
