Vintage in the Garden...and a Winner!

Last weekend, we spent a day working in the garden and catching up on yard work.  This is my favorite garden in our yard...full of vintage whimsy...it just makes me feel happy!  I shared it with you earlier in the season and thought I'd share the late summer blooms with you...click on the photos to explore more...

We lost a hydrangea bush in this corner over the winter, so decided to bring the Handy Hauler cart back here to fill the space, and filled it with Moss Roses!  I hadn't used them before...and LOVE the colors...

See the little bee on top of the coneflower?

The weather is cooling here now...such a pretty time of year...

Before I go...a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who entered my giveaway!
  The winner is~
Pat of Corn In My Coffee Pot

Until next time...wishing you a WONDERFUL weekend...

  23. Congratulations to Pat.

Your garden is beautiful. Living here in the desert with 116 degree heat, my few plants are in very sad shape right now. Most don't survive the summer but a few are hanging around.

  27. Looks great Linda...I love that chippy chair! My husband talked me into putting an old chippy (falling apart) chair in the burn pile...think I may need to go rescue it and tuck it in with our perennials :) Laurel

  28. Love your garden! Mine has been pretty well taken over by weeds so instead I dream and sketch about my next garden out west. I'd love to have it look as good as yours! I've been collecting cool old stuff to mix in with the flowers. It's a lot of work but you have done a beautiful job!
