Something Old for Something New...

I have always loved the look of vintage clothes hangers!  I've sold quite a few over the years, but have hung on to several I've wanted to display.  The hanger above is a recent thrift store find and is the centerpiece I've been waiting for!  Such a beauty!  Don't you love the wire stretchers and curls?  They sure don't make them like this anymore...

I decided to hang them as a group on one of the bathroom walls.  I added some of the others which had much simpler, but still great lines...

I think they are a work of art...

and they seem to go so well with the wire baskets in the room, too...

Such simple and inexpensive artwork!   Type in "vintage hangers" on Pinterest and you'll see all kinds of collections and displays!

Until next time...wishing you a wonderful weekend!

  24. Crazy for the hangers and I love your new look! I pinned a lots from here today:-)

Late one night we drove by some bags sitting on the curb for trash pick up...since I look at the side of the road more than in front:-) I spotted part of a wooden hanger sticking out. We stopped and hit the jackpot. None were as fancy and eye catching at yours but they were old! I sold some of them, but some are hanging near my laundry door. Yours are very impressive!
