A Simple Vignette and the Best Part of Blogging...

I've been continuing with more decorating out in the sunporch, and thought I'd share another area.  A screen door is hung on the wall as a backdrop.  Remember the decorative old wheel I found at the thrift store?  It found a home here along with some
vintage bingo cards...

An old cardboard sign decorates the door, and one of my old bingo cages is set on the little vintage benches.
Don't you love the green bakelite legs?

And the best part of blogging that I mentioned in the title?  It's all the wonderful friends we make!  I had a bloggers meetup with two long time blogging friends earlier this week!  Sharon of  My Vintage Studio flew in from Tennessee to stay a few days with Deb of Garage Sale Gal and they graciously invited me to join them for lunch, shopping, laughs, friendship, and cupcakes at the Mall of America!  We had such a great time!  Deb and I have met many times before, but this was our first time meeting Sharon...it was like we were all old friends!  They are two lovely ladies and it was so special to get together!  It really is a blessing of being a blogger...

I am joining Debra for her Be Inspired party...
always lots of great ideas there!

Until next time...

  10. How fun Linda! Both your vignette and your get together. I have to agree, the best thing I have gotten from blogging are some wonderful friendships - and most of them I have never met, but consider them good friends - like you! Ann

  13. Linda you really have a talent for layering interesting objects.Love how you used the screendoor as a background for your vignette. Every time I visit here I find myself staring at the photos like i would in a booth at an antique store. It's always fun to see what you've got here.
