Berry Basket...

Recently I found a big berry basket at the thrift store...it made a perfect place for gathering up fall goodies.  Isn't the number fun?

I took a large old galvanized funnel and filled
it with some very realistic faux apples.
I love the look of the galvanized patina...

I added a lovely old linen that I found the same day and a little mum plant...such a simple and pretty centerpiece on the table...

Thank you for all of your great comments on my fun finds post...I thought the transferware plates were wonderful, too!

AND before I go...have you seen the latest copy
of This Old House magazine?  Missy, of My Cottage Charm, has a wonderful window seat project that is on the cover!  There's an article inside, too!  She is a sweet and creative person and her blog is full of great projects and re-dos.  Hope you'll stop by and say hi!   Congratulations, Missy!

I am joining The Marketplace over
at Common Ground with some fun etsy listings and over for
 Knick of Time Tuesday, too!
Hope you'll stop by, too!

Until next time...

Those apples look so real! It all looks so beautifully autumnal. I am eager for the first frost (!) so I can dig up my dahlias and 'do' my autumn planting!
